CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

  • sugar – 3/4 cup
  • brown sugar – 3/4 cup
  • butter – 1 cup
  • vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
  • 1 egg
  • flour – 2.5 cups
  • baking soda – 1 teaspoon
  • salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • chocolate chips – 2 cups (12 oz package)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Mix sugars, butter, egg and vanilla in a large bowl.
  • Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Cover baking pan in parchment paper.
  • Drop rounded teaspoons of dough 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
