New York’s Chinatown has many restaurants that serve dim sum but my favorite is Dim Sum Go Go. Here’s why…

  • Most restaurants don’t have dim sum menus, just pushcarts stacked with items. Dim Sum Go Go has an English/Chinese dim sum menu (see below) and a photo menu.
  • Items are cooked when ordered, instead of pushed around on carts, so it arrives piping hot.
  • Most dim sum restaurants are very noisy because of the pushcarts, so Dim Sum Go Go is quiet by comparison.
  • Dim sum is served day and night, although some items aren’t available in the evening.

The prices are a bit higher than other restaurants, but this is my go-to spot for dim sum in Manhattan.
