黑芝麻糊

Black sesame is rich in antioxidants, zinc, iron, fatty acids and other nutrients. It reduces oxidative stress in liver, promotes heart health, regulates blood pressure and nourishes skin and hair.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons glutinous rice
- ½ cup toasted black sesame seeds
- 4 tablespoons rock sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Soak the glutinous rice for 4 hours at room temperature or overnight in the fridge.
- Add the sesame seeds to a large skillet in a thin layer. Toast over medium heat until fragrant or the seeds start popping (5-8 minutes)
- Drain the soaked glutinous rice and transfer it to a blender, along with the toasted sesame seeds and 2 cups of water. Blend until it forms a very smooth (2-3 minutes).
- Transfer the mixture to a medium pot and add 3 cups of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until boiling.
- Once boiling, lower the heat and add sugar, stirring constantly. Simmer over low heat until thickened.
