POOLHALL JUNKIE

My brother used to bring me to the pool room, when he was stuck babysitting but wanted to shoot. I was instantly drawn to the rhythm, elegance and intensity of billiards.

Since then, I’ve been addicted to the sport for many reasons. It has taught me so much about life, interacting with others and myself.

SELF AWARENESS:
How brutally honest are you about your own weaknesses?

SELF IMPROVEMENT:
How committed are you to correcting your mistakes, bad habits and eliminating all excuses for poor performance?

STRATEGY:
How well do you plan ahead and play the odds? Are you arrogant about your skills and do you underestimate others?

CONTROL:
How do you deal with adversity, distractions and handle pressure?

SPORTSMANSHIP:
Do you handle defeat with grace and winning with humility?

Life lessons can be found anywhere, for those focused on self improvement. How do your hobbies and passions help you grow?
